The Jamaican dollar is considered the official currency. Money of Jamaica in the form of paper bills in denominations: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 100 Jamaican dollars and metal coins in denominations of 1 and 5 dollars, 5, 10, 20, 25, 50 cents. Exchangers accept 3 types of currency: $US, £ – British pound sterling and € euro. In banks the list of all exchangeable currencies is much higher.
