While some of the beaches in Jamaica are more secluded than Naggo Head the mix of natural setting, personality and other qualities available at this location could be what you are looking for.

If you're looking for the best of both worlds, you might fall in love with Naggo Head. Without going too far from populated areas though you won't be surrounded by thousands of other people either natural beauty and modern conveniences are both available in Jamaica.

Despite the fact that Naggo Head isn't the most secluded beach you can find, visitors will find fewer people here than on many of Jamaica's other beaches. This means that, although it may not be right for a romantic stroll, it's certainly further outside of the main cities than other beaches.

The beaches found throughout Jamaica are usually fairly quiet, however, Naggo Head offers something unique. Still, you wouldn't call this spot very metropolitan it's not those planning on stopping at this beach during their vacations will enjoy escaping the buzz of city life without missing the chance to people watch.

Location

Located on Jamaica's eastern coast. It is located 8.5 miles from the Strawberry Hill. You may not be exactly in the center of the action when visiting Naggo Head. Kingston, 10.9 miles away, is the nearest city, though there are some homes nearer to the beach.

There aren't any large hotels in the immediate neighborhood but it is often enjoyed by visitors staying at smaller hotels nearby. You'll find several hotels nearby. Apart from the cool waters and soft beaches, Naggo Head is a popular destination for visitors and locals on the island. Numerous food stands sell fresh dishes cooked up in front of you and the locals are friendly and always eager to talk to any vacationer.

How crowded the beach is depends on a few things, including the time of year and day of the week. Some of Jamaica's beaches may rarely be crowded, while others are often crowded especially when tourism season is as its peak. Other Beaches

Jamaica has many nice beaches, so Naggo Head is just one of the options. Some might enjoy Lime Cay, where many visitors create a stir of activity. You'll find it 10.9 miles to the southwest. Lime Cay is a wonderful spot for beach picnics, swimming, and much more.

If you're looking for a more secluded beach experience, your search could end at Boston Bay. The jerk chicken and pork stands lining the shore are just as popular as the beaches at Boston Bay. Here, the waters are unprotected, offering some of the finest waves for windsurfing and playing in the water. This public beach is a popular spot for socializing and many different entertainment activities like concerts and contests occur along its shores. You'll find it 25.6 miles to the northeast.

Another beach to consider is Hellshire Beach, located 16.5 miles from Naggo Head. To the southwest of Kingston lies Hellshire beach, the most popular of the black sand beaches in this area. Locals flock to this area on the weekends to take advantage of this casual and relaxed environment on the shore. Food vendors sell their fresh cooked food to guests while fishermen traverse the shores. Although not the main attraction, the waters are cool and refreshing, making it a good idea to take a dip in the sea.

Naggo Head might not make your top beaches list, but Jamaica has plenty of other options for travelers who don't wish to visit this beach.
